Concours

Concours and car shows are where Porsches are displayed for general viewing and/or inspection competition. Experienced judges evaluate the various models based upon cleanliness, overall condition and authenticity at the Concours events.

These events are great fun for both spectators and participants. There are usually several beautiful rare and restored older cars to admire.

Cars can enter different levels of competition based on how much work the entrant chases to complete.

There are five general areas in the Full Concours level where cars are judged on exterior, interior, engine, trunk, and wheels/wheel wells.

In the Street group, the exterior, interior, wheels and fender area of the car will be judged, but the engine and trunk areas are not looked at.

Car Shows are often held in conjunction with community celebrations and/or other car clubs. These events focus less on the  competition aspect and more on the shining and showing of the cars.
