RS America |

Porsche RS America -NonSunroof.

Built April 1992, 99 of 702 RS America’s. Guards Red w/ black interior, 48k miles.

2nd Owner, bought 2001. Auto Edge did all work with the exception of some oil and brake changes. Porsche dealer did all work for 1st owner. I have all maintenance and modification records since new.

Car weighs 2,699lbs w/ ¼ tank of gas and its interior. PCA G class weight is 2910 w/ driver. Cool suit provides some ballast. PCA rules change now allows removal of interior – this would save additional 25-35 lbs – just a guess. I believe this is the only modification left to do on the car.

There were four factory options available on this car and this car had three. Radio, A/C, & Factory Ltd slip. It does not have a sunroof. It did not come with power steering, leather, cruise control and some other stuff to reduce weight.

Engine rebuilt at 45k miles. Dyno tested @ 255 to 262 rear wheel HP over 5 pulls and torque at 234 to 245 lb./ft. Engine pulls great – lots of fun especially above 4200 rpm. This is most noticeable in 5th gear exiting turn one at BIR, really pushes you into your seat.

Light weight flywheel and new clutch @ 47k miles – PCA rules changed allowed the lightweight flywheel.
B&B stainless steel full race headers, mufflers and dual out exhaust. No heat.

Suspension:
Bilstein Racing RS shocks front valving 237/94 with matching springs; rear valving 402/216 with matching springs.
Front camber plates, Rear mono balls, Genuine Cup car sway bars front and rear, Solid engine mounts. Wheel Studs - 72mm – need for racing wheels.

Lexan windshield and headlights. Lightweight tail. Recaro seats, OG roll cage w/ welded in plates to attach to car. Brey-Krause seat back brace. Battery kill switch, ABS reset switch, transponder, two wink mirrors, hot lap & egg timer.

Cool suit – stinky shirt is extra.

Fire system: SPA AFFF multi-flo 4.0L – nozzle to front, rear and driver.

Cool brake kit, under the center of the car.

Two sets of Jongbloed racing 3 piece wheels.

Some spare parts; brake caliper valves, brake pads, fan belt, rotors.

Removed and still have; A/C compressor, radiator & lines; factory exhaust (no 2nd muffler) w/ heat, seats, knee bar, radio, spare tire & jack kit; rear bench; factory seat belts, rear under tray, visors.

1984 Porsche 928 S **14,900**
Ruby Red Metallic
5 Speed Manual
46k Miles

I just moved up from Omaha, NE with my 1984 928. I used to be the service manager for Porsche of Omaha before I left and hand-picked this car from a loyal client who was nice enough to sell it to me after a lot of pestering.

My wife and I just had a baby girl this year and I'm doing what no man with a Porsche should EVER do. Sell it and not replace it immediately =)

This car is very clean and runs beautifully. It includes the factory service manuals, all prior invoices, original window sticker, factory first aid kit (un-opened), car cover, and a front bra.

Please call if you'd like more details.

17” AT Italia wheels

Targa top professionally recovered and relined in 2004.

Base options include climate control, power steering, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, dual power seats, driver side and passenger airbags, 5 Speed manual transmission, rear jumper seats with seatbelts, 3.6L flat six engine, All Wheel Drive. This is a wonderful car to drive every day or just on the weekend. It has been extremely reliable. I welcome anyone to talk with my mechanic to discuss the car in detail.

My rating on the interior is an 8, the paint is a 7 as there are some paint chips one would expect along with a minor scratch in paint on front and rear bumpers. My father owned the car before I did.

The 964 model is a very popular model in the long history of the 911. There is a huge following on the Porsche owners group and there are numerous forums for people that want to repair the cars themselves. Rennlist is a wonderful site for these types of discussions.

I would also recommend the book by Adrian Streather called the “Porsche 911 Enthusiast's Companion”™
Carrera 2, Carrera 4 and Turbo 1989 – 1994 From that book, I believe a handy person can repair anything on this car. http://forums.rennlist.com/
